Why are we getting a "Missing or invalid Status" error in the Tipasa User Portal?
Symptom
- Patrons see one of the following errors when submitting the ILL request form:
- "Request could not be created. If you continue to have issues submitting the form, contact the library. Revise. Missing or invalid Status."
- "Try Again. Errors occurred submitting form. Revise. Missing or invalid Status."

Resolution
This problem occurs when the status you have listed on the patron Request Form does not match the patron type in user accounts (e.g., Undergraduate versus Undergrad). To resolve this, note the patron types on your users' accounts and ensure they match the status field in the patron Request Form.
- Log in to the OCLC Service Configuration and navigate to WorldShare ILL > Request Forms.
- Open the request form that users are getting the error on.
- Locate the Status field.
- Click on the dropdown and edit the statuses to match what is on the users' accounts.
