• This index searches indexed data in local holdings records only. You can only retrieve data from your local holdings records.
• Because bq: is a word index, a space within a barcode value separates it into multiple search terms. To search for a barcode containing a space, enclose the term in quotation marks. Quoting works in interfaces where you construct the query yourself. Interfaces that build the barcode query for you (ex. WorldShare Record Manager) may not quote the value, in which case a barcode containing a space will not be found.
