I receive the error, "Your institution is not authorized to request from ISO 18626 Implementation Group member(s)" when submitting a request in WorldShare ILL

Symptom

  • When submitting a borrowing request in WorldShare ILL, you receive the message: "Your institution is not authorized to request from ISO 18626 Implementation Group member(s) [OCLC Symbol]"

Resolution

You're seeing this error because the symbol noted in the error is configured to only receive requests via ISO ILL. Any non-ISO requests will be denied for these institutions.
