ReShare requests in ILLiad are getting getting an error in the notes about "the local ID could not be retrieved."
Symptom
- In the Notes field of a ReShare request is a message that says "ReShare - A ReShare request was created, but the local ID could not be retrieved. ReShare request id [xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx]" where the x's are the full ReShare ID.

Resolution
ReShare requests that cannot match the ILLiad TN# result in this error. To resolve this, log in to the ReShare website/user interface and follow these steps:
- Go to Users and search for "ILLiad."
- From the results, select"ILLiad ReShare API User."
- That user needs to have "ReShare ILLiad API User" in the User permissions section.
- Once that has been added, close all ILLiad programs and restart the ILLiad System Manager and ILLiad Connection Manager services on the server. Hosted sites should contact OCLC Support and request that those services.
