Why am I getting an error when I try to replace a WorldCat record from my online save file?
Symptom
- An error appears on a record in your save file in Record Manager: Unable to replace the bibliographic record because the record has been updated by another user.

Resolution
When this error appears, it indicates that the record has been edited since you added the record to your online save file. Unfortunately, this means that the Save File Record is no longer valid. To prevent this, please lock the WorldCat record before making your changes. Once this error appears, you can create a new saved in progress record and make your changes, or edit the live WorldCat Record with your changes.
If the record was locked and this error is still appearing, please contact OCLC Support.
