When trying to Apply Dewey Cutter, “Select Dewey cutter” error appears and prevents completion.
Symptom
- When selecting Edit > Apply Dewey Cutter, the dialog opens but displays no options in the Select type of Dewey Cutter field. The “Select Dewey cutter” warning appears and prevents completion.
- In Record Manager > User Preferences > Working with Records accordion > Bibliographic Records tab > Default Classification Scheme, you have Dewey Decimal selected.

Resolution
Please try the work around below:
- Set your preference to Sanborn,
- Then test adding the cutter.
- Then change your preference to Four-Figure, and add the cutter again.
