Language () entry in the Languages of Cataloging field
Symptom
- The list of languages in the Languages of Cataloging field under User Preferences > Searching > Advanced shows a "language()" language type

Resolution
When users first set up a new account there is sometimes a language listed under User Preferences > Searching > Advanced > Language of Cataloging that will appear as "language()". This can be cleared by clicking the "x" button on that language and restarting WorldShare. It should not appear again after that, but if it does, please contact OCLC Support and provide your library symbol, your name and the steps taken immediately before it appeared.
