WorldShare Record Manager release notes, December 18 2025

Release Date: December 18, 2025

Introduction

This release of WorldShare Record Manager provides modernized and restyled label print functionality. This is another step towards a modernization of the Record Manager interface to improve usability, navigation, and accessibility. The new label print interface was designed to be fresh and intuitive while minimizing changes to your workflows.

The new interface will help you navigate label print functionality more easily with improved cursor focus on buttons, entry fields, and element focus for keyboards. A new font has been used that makes it easier to differentiate a zero (0) from the letter O.

New features and enhancements

Label templates

List of label templates

When clicking on the "Label Templates" button in the left navigation, you will see the list of existing label templates. The list name is a clickable link that takes you to the selected list.

Use the checkbox in the "Display" column to enable or disable a label print template. Templates that are disabled will not be selectable for label print list use.

Edit label print list

Label print lists can be edited similarly to the previous interface, however, editing records in the "Records" section of a label print list is different in that you can now edit each row separately by clicking on the pencil icon in the Action column.

This allows you to e.g., increase the count for a label or select enumeration/chronology from the dropdown.

Clicking on the "Delete" icon deletes the record from the label print list.

Edit an individual label

You can edit an individual label in the label layout section by clicking on "Edit," which becomes active as soon as you hover over a label with your mouse. The selected label is opened in the label editor.
Edit the label in the "Edit label text" box or in the "Edit label content" section, and your changes are auto-saved.

Delete a label print list

You can delete a label print list either from the overview list of label print lists or when viewing the individual list. From the overview list of label print lists, expand the Action menu and select "Delete". The selected label print list will be deleted.

When viewing an individual label print list you wish to delete, click the "Delete list" button at the top. You will see a confirmation dialog, and you can decide to either confirm the deletion of the selected label print list or cancel out.

Known issues

When using Firefox to change page and label settings in the label template editor, you should not use the arrow up/down to change e.g. the margins or column spacing as the values are reset to 0 when saving the template. As a workaround type in the values instead of selecting them from the dropdown.
This is not an issue when using Chrome.

You can currently open only one label print list at a time in the new user interface, and no tab will display in the left sidebar. This is different from the previous interface, where it was possible to have multiple label print lists open at a time and work on these in parallel.

With more pages being moved to the modernized user interface, the ability to have multiple tabs open in the left sidebar will be reinstated.
