Field strings (Fundamentals)
When you are editing a MARC 21 WorldCat record, you can save frequently used variable field information as a string that can be copied to other fields.

Field strings are frequently used field information that you can create, save, and insert into other fields. Field strings can be created for bibliographic data and local holdings records.
- Toolbox > Strings tab - Image
