Copy or move local file record(s)

You can copy or move local file records in Connexion client.

 Note:

Copy a local file record(s)

  1. With a local file record open or with records selected on a local file list, navigate to Action > Copy Record or press <Alt><A><Y>. This places a second copy of the record(s) in the file you select and leaves the first in the original file.
  2. (Optional) Click Local File Manager to open the Local File Manager window if you want to create a new file. Then click Close to return to the Copy Local File Record window. If you created a new file, its path and file name are added to the list.
  3. In the Copy Local File Record window, click the path and file name of the file to which you want to copy the record.
  4. Click OK to copy the record(s). If the local file to which you copied records already contains records, the copied records are appended to existing records.
    Or
    Click Cancel to cancel the action and close the window.

Move a local file record(s)

  1. With a local file record open or with records selected on a local file list, navigate to Action > Move Record or press <Alt><A><V>. This removes the record(s) from the original file and places it in the file you select.
  2. (Optional) Click Local File Manager to open the Local File Manager window if you want to create a new file. Then click Close to return to the Move Local File Record window. If you created a new file, its path and file name are added to the list.
  3. In the Move Local File Record window, click the path and file name of the file to which you want to move the record.
  4. Click OK to move the record(s). If the local file to which you moved records already contains records, the moved records are appended to existing records.
