Answer

Yes, we do offer a test patron load option. Upload your patron file into the appropriate SFTP directory below and make sure to reach out to OCLC Support to let us know you've uploaded a test file. Additionally, please provide an explanation of the analysis required, and let us know if you want the file to be processed if no errors are found.

If you are testing a patron load file, you will load this into the /xfer/wms/test/in/patron directory.

If you are testing a patron delete file, you will load this into the /xfer/wms/test/in/pdelete directory.

NOTE: Please never send OCLC a file with patron information through email; only send these files through SFTP. Sending personally identifying patron information via email may be in violation of your contract with OCLC. Because of this, OCLC Support staff are unable to review these files directly. Please use the test directory and alert OCLC Support when a file is submitted.
