LibKey Nomad

Learn how to request LibKey Nomad integration for your library.

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension from Third Iron that helps library users find library-provided access to content while browsing the open web. When a user visits a web page that includes a DOI or ISBN, LibKey Nomad checks your library's holdings and provides a link to the content through your library.

OCLC has completed this integration in collaboration with LibKey. Setup is handled on the LibKey side, so there are no settings to configure in OCLC Service Configuration.

To request LibKey Nomad integration:

  1. Complete the LibKey Nomad request form: Mutual Customer Access Form for ThirdIron LibKey.docx
  2. Send the completed form to legal@oclc.org.
  3.  OCLC signs the form and forwards it to OCLC Orders.
  4. OCLC Orders coordinates the remaining steps with LibKey.

After submitting your request, allow a few days to finalize the paperwork and complete setup.
