When trying to request a WSKey, you receive an error: "Your account name/email information is blank and as a result you are not allowed to perform this action."
Symptom
- When trying to request a WSKey, you receive an error: "There was a problem processing your request. Your account name/email information is blank and as a result you are not allowed to perform this action. Please contact OCLC Support for additional assistance."

- WorldShare Admin
Resolution
You may see this error if there is no Primary email address in the Library Record section of your account in WorldShare.
To add the email address:
- Log in to WorldShare.
- Access the Admin module.
- Search for the account you are using when requesting the WSKey.
- Click the Edit button on the Basic User Data tab.
- Add a working email address to the Library Record section and designate it as Primary.
- Click Save.
