WorldCat Discovery has returned the error message "An error occurred on the MetaAuthentication System. Details: No Single Sign-On request could be found."
This issue is commonly related to a previously cached Single Sign-On (SSO) session. Here are the steps to resolve it:
Restart the Browser or Machine. Often, simply restarting the user's browser or machine can resolve the issue.
Check the Link. Ensure the user is using the correct link and not a bookmarked or corrupt link with extra parameters.
Disable Browser Extensions. If the problem persists, try disabling browser extensions or test with a different browser.
Proxied Authentication: When the authentication begins proxied but the Identity Provider (IdP) breaks the proxying.
Missing Session Cookies: When the session cookies at metaauth are missing.
Unsupported IDP Initiated Authentication: When the IdP is attempting IDP initiated authentication, which we do not support
