When accessing a "View full text" link on a WorldCat Discovery record, the page resolves to a forbidden or bad gateway message.
Symptom
- Full-text access links for a particular provider (such as EBSCO) return a "Forbidden" or "502 Bad Gateway" error page.

Resolution
Confirm that your Provider Settings for this particular provider are set up according to our documentation:
- Go to WorldShare Collection Manager
- Go to Institution Settings > Provider Settings
- Confirm that your Provider Settings match the recommendations in our documentation, and make any necessary changes.
For example, if it indicates the "Setting is only required when custom linking has been set up with the provider," and you do not have custom linking set up, confirm you have not added this provider to your settings. If they are listed, remove them from your settings and try to access the full-text links again.
- After making any changes, click Save.
