Options are grayed out under Item Availability from OPAC in OCLC Service Configuration
Symptom
- None of the options are editable in the following location because they're grayed out: OCLC Service Configuration > WorldCat Discovery and WorldCat Local > OPAC Statuses, Locations and Circulation Policies > Item Availability from OPAC
- Affected options include the following:
- Select your ILS Vendor
- Select your ILS Product/Version
- How should WorldCat Local get item information?
- Enter the URL used to search for items in the catalog by OCLC#:

- WorldCat Discovery
Resolution
These options aren't editable. They only show what your configuration looked like when your library first started with WorldCat Discovery. If you change your OPAC or ILS, you do not need to change these options. They shouldn't have any effect on your catalog linking.
