Why does the number of holdings shown on an item in WorldCat.org not match the number of libraries displayed in the All Libraries tab?

The All Libraries tab in WorldCat.org will show libraries with a cataloging subscription with OCLC who have a holding on this record. However, Library types that don't usually allow patron access won't appear in this list, which may cause a mismatch between the holdings count and the number of libraries displayed. If you are a library that wants to appear anyway, contact OCLC Support with your Library name, OCLC Symbol, and contact information.
